Gulu Children Outreach

Last year, July 2016 with the help of our local team of on ground Love Uganda Foundation, we were in position to reach out to the children in Gulu, particularly girls in primary level. According to their plight, most of the girls in the regions of Tegot and Moro lack out on sanitary materials or wears during their natural periods thus drop out of school as they are laughed at by their friends in schools thus embarking on early marriages.

By far, this has caused complications during child-birth which at most times have led to death of both the mothers and their children. The outreach was dedicated at providing sanitary materials to on-going school girls under the campaign, “Keep a Girl-Child in school” and also teaching them about various ways of how to abstain from early sex practices and keeping clean and healthy.
